San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital recently thanked Linda Helland for her many years of service by throwing her a retirement party at the Hospital.
Linda started at SGMH in June 1997. She was the weekend call tech for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. For 12 years, she worked a full time job at Redlands Community Hospital and worked weekends here. In 2009, she came on full time as the mammography technologist.
Linda has been instrumental in SGMH’s Imaging Department’s MQSA/FDA inspections, receiving zero deficiencies numerous times. She has been responsible for the mammography program being ACR accredited.
According to Krystal Chamberlain, Director of Imaging, “Linda has a very generous heart. She is always celebrating co-workers birthdays and special occasions, and goes out of the way to make her coworkers feel special. Many of the Mammography patients that have come in recently have brought her cards, gifts and some have even cried about her leaving.”
Linda is retiring to spend time with her family. She has already planned multiple trips for this year!
Thank you for all of your service, Linda! Congratulations on your retirement! We’ll miss you!
