San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital’s Behavioral Health Center celebrated its relocation with an Open House earlier this month.
The Center opened after service hours for a special open house on March 11, honoring its new location in Palm Springs. Both San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital and Desert Healthcare District staff and board members attended the event to acknowledge the success of the Center, which provides outpatient mental health services to adults.
The relocation to Palm Springs and expansion of the Center was supported by a grant from the Desert Healthcare District., according to Carole Dozier, Ph.D., Director of Behavioral Health at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital. The Service is fully owned and operated by San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital.
“The new facility provides better access for patients throughout the Desert and San Gorgonio communities, and more than doubles the space of our previous outpatient clinic,” said Dozier.
The new Behavioral Health Center is located at 1751 N. Sunrise Way, Suite G, in Palm Springs. For more information, please contact Carole Dozier, Ph.D., BHC Director, at (760) 325-2683.
