The San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital Auxiliary held their Annual Awards Luncheon on Monday, May 12th, at Childhelp Merv Griffin Village in Beaumont, where they presented the San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital Foundation with a donation.
Through funds raised by sales at the San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital Gift Shop and the San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Shop, the Auxiliary raised $35,000 for equipment for the Hospital.
The Auxiliary, under the leadership of Board President Rick Thiebaud, presented Hospital CEO Mark Turner with a check at the luncheon.
“We truly appreciate the Auxiliary’s generous annual donation and we plan to use the funds for needed life-saving medical equipment,” said Turner. “We also greatly appreciate the time and service Auxiliary members donate to our hospital. Without their help we could not possibly provide the level of service quality expected by our patients.”
In addition to the check presentation, the Auxiliary honored their volunteers for their 2013 achievements and honors. The luncheon attendees also listened to guest speakers, including Turner and Lynn Elder, the Executive Director of Childhelp.
