San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital Dietary Services Department Receives Award

The San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital Dietary Services Department received an Achievement Award April 18 from the San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital Medical Staff, for their “outstanding creativity in dietary services.”

The Award recognizes the success of the Room Service program that the Dietary Department has implemented for patients, said John Alcantar, Director of Dietary Services. In addition, the Award recognizes the Dietary Department’s other creative endeavors, like the “Create Your Own Omelet” breakfasts and “Chef’s Special” meals, both favorites among staff and patients alike.

“The Achievement Award shows that the Medical Staff is very pleased with Dietary Services,” Alcantar said. “This is a great honor.”
