A once-in-a-lifetime event occurred at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital’s Maternity Department on Wednesday. A Beaumont resident delivered a baby at 12:12 p.m. on December 12, 2012, making the baby a “12-12-12-12:12” baby!
Sor Dansereau from Beaumont gave birth to Damion Angelo Dansereau, 6 lbs, 7 oz, and 21 inches long, at exactly 12:12 p.m. on December 12, 2012. The exact time was confirmed by Kari Spoelstra, RN and Perinatal Educator.
“Everything has to do with the number 12,” said mother Breea Dansereau. “We were very excited. Brenda (Heckenlaible, RN) was the best nurse ever, and was just amazing. She was very reassuring – it was a really great experience.”
Baby Damion shares his birthday with at least one other baby – a second child was born at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital on 12-12-12.
