San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital to Hold Final Construction Site Tour

San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital will hold the last Construction Tour of its new Emergency Department/Intensive Care Unit Building on Wednesday, November 14, at 4 p.m. Tour groups will meet at Classroom C, on the San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital campus, near the Women’s Center parking lot off of Wilson Street.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older, and must wear closed-toed shoes. Hard hats will be provided.

Wednesday’s tour coincides with the last Construction Update Meeting, provided by the San Gorgonio Memorial Healthcare District. Representatives from the construction and architecture firms, as well as the Healthcare District, will give a presentation following the tour of the facility.

More than 80 people joined SGMH for a tour of the new ED/ICU building in May.

Tour groups can learn about how the new building, scheduled to open in Spring of 2013, meets the state-mandated seismic codes, and uses the latest technology to help SGMH provide excellent care and service. In addition, participants can visit the “mock-up” patient rooms, and find out what it would feel like to be a patient in the ED or ICU.

We hope you will join us for the last monthly tour of YOUR new Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit building!
