San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital Associates will soon know a little more about healthy eating, after they attend a Redlands Bowl fundraiser focused on eating well.
Kari Spoelstra, RN, BSN, IBCLC, Perinatal Educator and Program Director at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital, purchased a table at the upcoming class, “Semi-Homemade: The Art of Mixing Store-Bought Items with Fresh Ingredients,” hosted by Redlands restauranteur Martha Green.
The class will benefit the Redlands Bowl Association, with all proceeds from the estimated 600 guests going towards the Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival and the Carolyn S. Pike Scholarship for winners of the Young Artists Auditions.
“We purchased a table at the benefit to help support the philanthropic efforts of local community organizations,” Spoelstra said.
“It is our hope to learn and share a few healthy recipes with the Wellness is Now Committee at SGMH,” she added.
The fundraiser will be held at Trinity Evangelical Free Church in Redlands on Thursday, April 19th at 6:30 p.m. Trinity has a very large seating area with an attached kitchen available for the benefit program.
