San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital honored many of our long-time employees today with a lunch at the Morongo Casino.
16 associates who have been with SGMH for 10 years or longer were recognized with a pin and lunch in their honor. Their department heads came out to give the awards, and tell everyone a little something about what makes them special.
“We’re recognizing the service they provide to our organization,” said Mark Turner, SGMH CEO. “Honoring their dedication is the purpose of this award.”
Among those present were Giman Gandapermana from the Laboratory, who celebrated 35 years with SGMH this year.
“People really enjoy working with him,” Byron Hazley, Director of the Lab, said.
The Director of the Emergency Department, Trish Ritarita, honored Carol Hibbard in the ER with a pin, recognizing her for 20 years at SGMH.
“Everyone, including me, absolutely loves her,” she said.
Judy Brooks in the Physical Therapy Department was honored for 15 years of service by Steffen Meland, Director of Rehab Services.
“Judy has grown with the company, and with us. She’s taken on new responsibilities,” Steffen said. “She can be counted on for just about anything.”
Thank you to these associates and all the others honored today for their dedication to SGMH. Their hard work helps make this a great place to work, and a great hospital!
